Italian glam rock four-piece Måneskin hit Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena for their Rush tour to promote their latest album of the same title, released just two weeks ago.

They put on an electrifying performance, performing their 2021 Eurovision song Zitti E Buoni just three songs in, their Four Seasons cover of Beggin' and even played their biggest hit I Wanna Be Your Slave twice (an unusual choice, but the crowd didn't seem to mind).

Måneskin pulled out all the hallmark stops of a great rock performance, with multiple band members crowd-surfing, inviting a group of young fans on stage to dance to Kool Kids, vocalist Damiano David wearing an Italian flag from a fan, and bassist Victoria De Angelis wading through the mosh without missing a note.

Mid-way through the show, they moved to a smaller stage set up behind the sound desk and played two songs, including a cover of Jet's Are You Gonna Be My Girl and mentioned that the Jet lead singer Nic Cester was in the audience.

The energy was constantly at a high, with all members being real seasoned live performers and knew exactly how to play up to the crowd. Måneskin put on a fascinating performance, no doubt they'll be back to tour Australia again sooner rather than later.
