Sparta returned to Australia for their first tour here in 17 years, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album Wiretap Scars. Frontman Jim Ward declared that Melbourne was one of their favourite cities in the world, and that this was the biggest show of the Wiretap Scars tour to date.

Ward, bassist Matt Miller and current touring drummer Matt Hennessey played the album in full, then Ward declared that they don't believe in encores, and treated the crowd to a selection of other hits including While Oceana Sleeps and Atlas.
