Dinosaur Jr. (US) add headline Melbourne show to Australia & New Zealand Tour - February & March 2024
US alternative rock pioneers Dinosaur Jr. today announce they have added a Melbourne show to their highly-anticipated headline tour of Australia & New Zealand this February and March.
Heading to Australia celebrating 30 years of their iconic album Where You Been, Dinosaur Jr. will now kick off the tour at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Friday 16 February, before heading to Sydney on Wednesday 21 February for a sold-out show at Enmore Theatre, to The Tivoli in Brisbane on Friday 23 February then Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall for a performance on Monday 26 February and Perth’s Astor Theatre on Wednesday 28 February. The band will finish off the tour in Auckland for a final show at Auckland Town Hall on Saturday 2 March.
Mascis will also perform shows in Sydney on Tuesday 20 February at Liberty Hall and Brisbane on Saturday 24 February at The Triffid.
Dinosaur Jr. will be joined by Australian band Stepmother on all Australian dates and Auckland-based trio Office Dog for the Auckland show.
