XAVIER RUDD announces Freedom Sessions Australian tour
Internationally acclaimed musician Xavier Rudd is thrilled to announce his "Freedom Sessions Australia Tour”. Following two huge tours in North America and Europe, Xavier will be bringing the most intricate solo show of his career to Australian fans in a series of family friendly spring events.
Join Xavier for an unforgettable night filled with timeless classics and the exciting new sounds of his latest EP, Freedom Sessions. His latest tracks showcase new levels of complexity in his performance, mesmerising audiences as he seamlessly juggles multiple instruments, intricate live looping, and immersive soundscapes.
Very special guest, ARIA-nominated, multi-award-winning songwriter and musician Emily Wurramara will join the tour for an exciting performance at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne 'Live At The Gardens' series.
Supporting Xavier on the entire tour is Calypso Cora, a dynamic new four-piece from the Northern Rivers of NSW. With creative talent in the bloodline, Xavier's son Finojet Rudd is front man for the band, which has supported him this year at sold out shows in Fremantle Prison and at The Greenroom Byron Bay, and also recently shared the stage with The Cat Empire and Thundamentals at the Teneriffe Festival in Brisbane.
